Brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, is a cosmetic procedure to raise the brows. A brow lift improves the appearance of the forehead, the brow and the area around the eyes by raising the soft tissue and skin of the forehead and brow.
If you have a low, sagging brow or brow asymmetry, brow lift is the procedure for you. Lot of times, brow lift can be done with other facial procedures, such as eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) or a face-lift. In your consultation with Dr. Lo, you can discuss your goals and ask your questions. Dr. Lo will guide you and provide all the options.
Aging typically causes the brows to move down. As skin and soft tissues lose elasticity, the distance between the eyebrows and eyelashes also shortens.
The lower position of the eyebrows can make you look tired, angry or sad. A brow lift can raise the eyebrows and restore a refreshed, more pleasing appearance.
Two different types of blepharoplasty
Upper eyelid blepharoplasty and lower eyelid blepharoplasty. During initial consultation, Dr. Lo will guide you with if you need either of two or both upper and lower eyelid surgery.

Recovery from the procedure
You’ll need to take at least a week and possibly two weeks off work to rest and recover after surgery. After a couple of weeks, your brows should settle down into a more natural position.Don’t do any strenuous activity for 3-4 weeks.
