Breast Revision

Lot of people choose to get their breast implants removed and receive replacement implants for many different reasons. It could be to change the size of their breasts, or to switch from one type of implant to another (saline vs silicone). Sometimes revision is done as there is a discomfort due to tight scar tissue (capsular contracture) or have noticed their implants are smaller or have shifted – indicating a possible leak.

In addition, some women find that over time their skin has stretched and there may be some sagging, especially if the woman has had children since the breast augmentation. In such a scenario, along with revision, a breast lift might also be needed. 

Corrective breast surgery may be a bit more involved than the original procedure.
